As Director, you will lead a dynamic program of government and election commitments, whilst overseeing funding, evaluation, and complex intergovernmental negotiations. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based advice that supports the stewardship and sustainability of the ACT health system.
What You’ll Lead
- Development and delivery of primary and integrated care policy and programs tailored to the needs of the ACT.
- Government and election commitments across primary care, urgent care and community‑based support, including chronic conditions policy.
- A high‑performing team producing complex ministerial briefs, Cabinet submissions, Assembly questions and strategic correspondence.
- Governance, monitoring and oversight of policy‑related funding and programs, including those delivered by non-government partners.
What You’ll Drive
- Coordinated, timely and consistent policy advice across the Health Policy and Strategy Branch.
- Effective partnerships and negotiations with service providers, Commonwealth and ACT agencies, and non-government organisations.
- Representation of the Branch and Directorate across key internal and external working groups.
