The Engagement Educator plays a vital role in supporting high-quality engagement and play across the service. This dynamic role focuses on being present and responsive to children’s needs throughout the day while assisting teams to manage routines without compromising children’s learning and well-being. As an Engagement Educator, you will move between classrooms and environments, offering flexible, above-ratio support while modelling playful, purposeful and positive interactions.

About the Service

• Based in the suburb of Swan View and is 82 place service, caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 6 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play areas
• Very close to local coffee shops for lunch time breaks
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation
• Beautiful sensory room within the service, as well as a piazza and atelier
• Opening hours of the service are - 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Strong management team to coach and guide you through your career

About You

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent (Essential)
• Must be available to work 5 days a week
• Experience in working as an Educator in a childcare service for X years
• A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Have strong communication skills written and verbal
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
• Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
