Our globally recognised company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, business‑focused Operations Manager to lead our Perth Operations team. This role is based at the industry’s largest removal facility in Perth (over 20,000m3!), which serves as the central hub for our West Australia operations, playing a critical role in delivering operational excellence and customer satisfaction across the state.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this is a key leadership role responsible for the Moving P&L including: delivering operational excellence, managing teams, and ensuring outstanding customer service across domestic and international relocations.
Responsibilities will include;

- Lead and support the Perth Operations team, ensuring employees receive the training and guidance needed to achieve individual and branch objectives
- Take ownership of the Perth P&L, with a focus on performance, efficiency, and cost control
- Plan and manage the daily allocation of operational resources to meet customer service standards while staying within direct cost targets
- Ensure full compliance with all OH&S regulations and standards
- Act as the first point of escalation for significant customer enquiries and issues
- Prepare management reports as required and actively participate in management meetings
- Optimise the use of branch resources to support achievement of operational and budget targets
- Maintain operational standards and drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction

- Proven experience in a similar operational leadership role, with demonstrated P&L responsibility and a focus on driving performance and continuous improvement
- Experience in Household Goods Relocation (highly advantageous)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑focused mindset
- Effective time management and follow‑up skills, with the ability to prioritise and respond quickly in a dynamic operation
- A highly motivated and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
