This temporary employment register will run for a period of 12 months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts to cover short term vacancies during periods of leave, secondments, deployments in other areas of the Department, or short term funded projects.

About The Role

We are seeking emerging and forward-thinking Information Management professionals to join our team and contribute to engaging and impactful projects.

Rooted in the disciplines of records management and archival science, our work spans a broad spectrum - from developing preservation strategies for historical documents that chronicle the rich history of Western Australia, to exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies that address the complexities of modern information management. You’ll develop experience in records and information management, learning and managing records that cover the Department’s administrative functions, client-specific case functions, and medical records that improve and enhance the access to records in the Department.

We are seeking emerging professionals for the operations area of our business. Key aspects of our work involve: digitising and indexing records into an EDRMS or health information management system, identifying and classifying records using a business classification scheme, managing hard copy and digital records and files, and retrieving records for dissemination to functional areas in the Department to support the Department’s frontline operations.

Eligibility

Special conditions - some positions require travel within Western Australia, a driver’s license, and the ability to lift boxes up to 16kg.
