The Opportunity
NTT Data is looking for a Client Manager to join our ACT Workforce Solutions team on a permanent basis.
This is a sales focused role where you’ll act as a subject matter expert, driving NTT’s augmentation services strategy across the ACT market. You’ll work closely with Federal Government clients, understanding their workforce challenges and delivering tailored talent solutions that make measurable impact.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a fast paced, client facing environment and has a passion for building strong relationships and winning new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive augmentation services sales, including pipeline generation and achievement of monthly targets
- Own the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships across Federal Government clients and key stakeholders
- Generate demand by uncovering client needs and positioning NTT’s workforce solutions effectively
- Work closely with internal resourcing teams to identify and place high-quality talent
- Establish and manage both short and long term resource placements aligned to client needs
- Lead commercial negotiations for resource placements
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM data
- Develop and execute territory and account plans
- Collaborate with the broader sales and delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes and high satisfaction
You will bring
- 5+ years’ experience in ICT services sales, recruitment, or workforce solutions (or the ability to transition into ICT sales)
- Proven success in business development, pipeline generation, and achieving sales targets
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated experience working across Federal Government accounts, with a strong understanding of procurement frameworks and panel engagement (e.g. Digital Marketplace, BuyICT or similar)
- Experience navigating complex government environments, including procurement, commercial, and technical stakeholders
- Understanding of ICT trends, labour hire dynamics, and public sector buying cycles
- Ability to translate client needs into tailored, outcome driven solutions
- Strong commercial acumen, with strategic thinking capability and the ability to evaluate and position the most effective solutions
- A high energy, self-starter mindset with a results driven approach and a passion for building strong, long-term stakeholder relationships
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to deliver win-win outcomes
Eligibility Requirements
- Australian Citizenship is required due to the nature of Federal Government clients
- Baseline Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is highly desirable
