Job Description
- Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintain customer payment records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to accounts receivable balances.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports as required by the Accounting & Finance team.
- Support month-end closing activities by providing relevant data and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer billing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain compliance with organisational policies and financial regulations.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Accounts Receivable Officer Should Have
- Experience in accounts receivable or a related role within the Accounting & Finance field.
- A strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
