Komatsu has the opportunity for a Product Support Advisor to assist in our Rio Tinto contract.

You’ll be managing the fleet health of all Komatsu equipment by providing on-the-job technical assistance for the maintenance personnel in fault finding including major components change outs, maintenance practices & operating practices.

Your job is to assist personnel to resolve parts sourcing issues and resolve technical information sourcing issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the daily downtime of machine fleet at site
  • Involvement in repair process on local dealer machinery
  • Assistance in administration of warranty
  • Understanding and forecasting the scheduled downtime
  • Weekly site update
  • Feedback on service personnel
  • Optimisation of machines
  • Machine systems monitoring

Roster: 8:6 FIFO ex Perth – Day shift only

Role Located: Pilbara

Must be living in Perth to be considered.

What We Are Looking For

  • Hold a Trade or Engineering Qualification or background
  • Have sound knowledge and experience of Komatsu Loaders
  • Have worked on Mine Site/s in the WA Mining Industry
  • Self-motivated with good initiative as well as strong team player attitude with drive and professionalism to excel
  • Always have a high standard of Customer service whilst always promoting Komatsu Products and Services
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to O.H.S always
  • Ability to work away remotely at the customer site
  • Have strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
