The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating an automated batching and recipe management system to produce consistent, high-quality plant and dairy-based products.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and food safety requirements are achieved.
- Prepare and pre-weigh ingredients according to production requirements
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot automated batching equipment
- Follow site recipes accurately with no deviations
- Support production changeovers, equipment setup and shutdown activities
- Monitor production performance, waste and downtime throughout the shift
- Assist with preventative maintenance and process improvement initiatives
- Operate forklifts and manually handle materials as required
- Work collaboratively across other production areas when needed
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Experience operating automated machinery or batching systems highly regarded
- Forklift licence preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
