The opportunity Due to sustained growth, we’re seeking an Associate Technical Director to lead the delivery of current and future urban development projects. You’ll provide clear technical leadership, ensure excellence in delivery, and deepen our market presence—particularly across industrial and greenfield land development.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, providing direction, technical advice and championing a strong quality and safety culture.
  • Manage end‑to‑end delivery across multiple projects to meet time, quality, budget and HSE targets.
  • Develop and support key accounts; convert relationships into sustainable commercial opportunities.
  • Implement effective financial and project controls for monitoring, forecasting and risk management.
  • Optimise resource planning and allocation across commissions.
  • Drive performance reviews, ensure service delivery exceeds client expectations, and uphold regional/global best practice.
  • Deliver within frameworks of risk, sustainability and environmental stewardship while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
  • Work closely with established networks to identify and win new business.

About you

  • 10- 15+ years’ experience in a similar senior role, with relevant engineering degree with Chartered status (or equivalent).
  • Proven delivery of land subdivisions and miscellaneous civil projects; urban renewal experience an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including familiarity with contractual conditions (incl. international) and ability to take commercial responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to build enduring relationships and convert them into genuine commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborative leader who sets high standards, communicates clearly and lifts team performance.
