Associate - Private Equity

We're partnering with a high-growth investment platform operating across private markets, climate, and strategic infrastructure themes, seeking an Associate to join the Sydney team.

This is a broad, commercially focused role suited to candidates from Investment Banking, top-tier Consulting, Private Equity, or principal investing environments who are looking to make the move into the buy-side and step into a more entrepreneurial investment platform.

The role will work closely with senior leadership across investment analysis, transaction execution, strategic projects, portfolio support, and investor-related initiatives. Strong exposure across both commercial and investment decision-making.

Ideal background

Investment Banking (M&A, infra, industrials, renewables, TMT or generalist teams)
Top-tier strategy consulting backgrounds (Bain, McKinsey, BCG etc.)
Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis capability
High academic performance and strong communication skills
Interest in private markets, real assets, sustainability, infrastructure, or growth investing themes
