Role Overview

NTT Data is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a large enterprise environment following a recent firewall migration. This role will focus on the day-to-day operation, policy management, and optimisation of a Palo Alto firewall estate, with a strong emphasis on operational stability in a live production environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure the security platform is performing optimally post-implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of enterprise-grade Palo Alto firewalls
• Manage and optimise firewall policies in a production environment
• Work with Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) for configuration and visibility
• Assist with post-migration stabilisation and optimisation activities
• Troubleshoot network security incidents and performance issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure and reliable network operations

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments
• Practical exposure to Strata Cloud Manager (SCM)
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Good working knowledge of routing and switching fundamentals
• Proven ability to operate confidently in live production environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
