AI Architect

We’re partnering with a high-growth technology organisation building advanced AI capabilities into a large-scale enterprise platform. This is a key opportunity for an experienced AI Architect to shape the direction of AI across a complex product environment, working closely with engineering, product, and data teams.

This role would suit someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and technical depth - designing scalable AI systems while mentoring teams and driving best practice across architecture and delivery. Someone who can bridge the gap between research and development/production would be a great fit.

Australian Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the architecture and integration of AI-driven capabilities across enterprise software products
• Design scalable solutions leveraging generative AI and emerging agentic AI patterns
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to align technical delivery with business goals
• Guide cloud-native AI deployments across modern infrastructure environments
• Establish architectural standards, engineering best practices, and technical governance
• Support evaluation, monitoring, and optimisation of AI systems to ensure performance and reliability
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the broader development function

What You’ll Bring

• Strong background in software engineering and solution architecture within modern technology environments
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI-enabled applications at scale
• Hands-on exposure to generative AI and/or agentic AI systems in production environments
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and software design principles
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts across engineering and business stakeholders
• Experience working within enterprise web application environments
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
