About The Position
This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules to support successful delivery outcomes. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors, you will coordinate work packages, monitor performance, and provide insights that drive efficiency and productivity. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, strong cost control, and alignment with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
- Coordinate work sequencing and prioritisation with project teams
- Monitor project performance, progress, and critical path activities
- Analyse productivity, earned value, and resource utilization
- Prepare accurate reports and scheduling dashboards
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and cost control activities
- Identify opportunities to optimise schedules and workflows
Skills And Experience Required
- 35 years experience as a Planner or Scheduler on major projects
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling
- Experience in mining, construction, or oil & gas sectors
- Ability to manage multi-discipline, resource-loaded schedules
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Self-motivated with ability to work in diverse team environments
- Based in or able to work in Melbourne (preferred)
