About The Role

As the Engagement Lead, you will design and deliver a clear, consistent engagement and communication approach across Consumer Transformation, and the wider Consumer Portfolio. Working closely with senior leaders, you will strengthen engagement rhythms, showcase progress, and support a high‑performing, customer‑focused culture across the portfolio.

This is a 12-month full-time contract opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning and delivery of engagement activities and communications that align Consumer Portfolio and Transformation and activity to Consumer Insurance and Suncorp strategy.
• Own core engagement rhythms, including monthly forums, quarterly events, and leadership forums, ensuring consistency and purpose.
• Develop written and visual artefacts such as presentations, showcases, case studies, and storytelling assets that demonstrate value and impact.
• Write and edit communications for senior leaders, including key messages, talking points, and portfolio updates.
• Shape a clear transformation narrative, translating delivery into stories that resonate with leaders and large audiences
• Build strong relationships across Consumer Insurance, supporting collaboration, visibility, and shared outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience designing and delivering engagement and communication strategies including events within large, complex organisations.
• Strong storytelling capability, with the ability to tailor messages for broad employee audiences and senior leaders.
• Proven experience creating high‑quality written and visual content using tools such as PowerPoint, SharePoint, or video platforms.
• Background in marketing, communications, PR, or a related field, with experience supporting executive‑level communications.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with confidence, applying sound judgement in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Experience within financial services or insurance, particularly in transformation or change contexts, is beneficial.
