About Our Client

Join a distinguished business in the Freight industry that specialisze in building shipping containers, self-storage units and components (air conditioning, electricity, doors, windows) for the containers. They are now seeking a Trade Assistant to join them in their new Pinkenba workshop.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Trade Assistant, you will be required to work Monday - Friday, 5:30AM starts completing 9-10 hour days. You will work out of their new Pinkenda workshop. Your duties will include

• Measuring materials
• Using hand and power tools
• Manual Handling
• Reading Plans
• Holding, positioning, or securing materials - while trades fasten or fix.
• Assisting with measuring, cutting, and marking materials under supervision.
• Pre-assembling simple components
• Other general TA duties

What You Will Need

• Driver's License and reliable transport
• Previous experience in a similar role as a TA using tools, assisting with building components
• Eager to learn and follow instructions
• Great attitude and communication skills
