Data & Insights Analyst

• Hybrid (3 days onsite)
• $115k–$125k + Super
• Initial 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

We’re partnering with an established organisation currently rebuilding capability across reporting and analytics following several key departures within the team. This role will suit a senior, hands-on BI / Reporting professional who is comfortable stepping into an imperfect environment, quickly understanding what exists today and delivering practical reporting improvements that provide genuine business value.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of sales and operational reporting capability

• Review and assess the current reporting and data environment

• Improve data quality and reporting consistency issues

• Rebuild and enhance reporting using existing platforms and tools

• Deliver practical self-service reporting and improved visibility for business users

• Support deeper analysis across regions, channels, customer groups and product categories

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand how reporting is used day to day

• Collaborate with both local and offshore stakeholders

What they’re looking for

• Strong Power BI capability and experience with SQL

• SAP highly regarded

• Commercially minded with a practical approach to reporting

• Comfortable challenging low-value reporting requests

• Hands-on and delivery focused

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams

• Able to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a changing environment
