SYPAQ are seeking a Junior Mechanical OR Electronic Technician to join our Advanced Technology Group (ATG) division to assist in the manufacture of our CORVO family of UAS.

Working within our Advanced Manufacturing facility based in our Headquarters in Port Melbourne, Victoria. These positions will see you draw on your mechanical and electronics skill sets to support SYPAQ engineers in the manufacture, assembly and delivery of CORVO UAS.

About The Role

Working with the engineering team, your tasks and duties will include but not limited to;

  • Manufacturing, assembly, test and packaging of the CORVO family of UAS and related systems;
  • Manufacturing and assembly of sub-systems including structural, communications, electronics and packaging hardware;
  • To assess, repair and release manufactured items;
  • To conduct quality inspections;
  • To manage components, production equipment, tools and production data associated with projects;

Your Qualifications / Experience

  • Essential:
    • Australian Citizen with the ability to hold a NV1 Defence security clearance.
  • Desirable:
    • Certificate III Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
    • Adv Diploma Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
    • Certificate III Electronics & Communication or equivalent
    • Adv Diploma Electronics & Communication or equivalent
