SYPAQ are seeking a Junior Composites Technician to join our Advanced Technology Group (ATG) to assist in the manufacture of our CORVO family of UAS. Working within our Advanced Manufacturing facility based in our Headquarters in Port Melbourne, Victoria. This position will see you draw on your composites and manufacturing skill sets to support the engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, test and maintenance of the CORVO UAS family.

About The Role
Working with the engineering team, your tasks and duties will include but not limited to;
- Manufacture composite components for SYPAQ’s Corvo family of UAS.
- Ensure all required prototype build, production manufacturing, repair and tests are carried out in accordance with the relevant instructions/specifications.
- Ensure that the necessary tools, jigs, production and test equipment are available and set to work for the work being performed.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and production systems under the guidance from the senior technicians.
Your Qualifications / Experience
- Essential:
- Australian Citizen with the ability to hold a NV1 Defence security clearance.
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail
- Desirable:
- Previous experience in composites manufacturing
- Trade qualifications relevant to composites manufacturing
