The Injury Management Advisor – Workers Compensation is critical to delivering timely, evidence-based, and compliant injury management services. This role supports recovery and return-to-work outcomes by providing technical advice on treatment and rehabilitation needs, influencing claims strategies, and supporting Claims Advisors to manage tail claims effectively.

You will champion consistent decision-making, legislative compliance, and coaching across the team while promoting customer-first practices and contributing to overall claims performance and cost-effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide clinical injury management advice regarding treatment and rehabilitation needs
  • Interpret medical reports and advise on reasonableness and necessity of interventions
  • Ensure decisions are aligned with legislation, evidence-based practice, and delegated authority
  • Work closely with leaders and technical specialists to embed proactive, consistent practices
  • Contribute to strategic planning, process development, and improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Allied Health related discipline is mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years Clinical experience
  • Minimum 2 years Workers Compensation - Desired
  • Minimum 2 years Occupational Rehabilitation experience - Desired
  • Ability to identify developmental needs of team members and recommend training activities to achieve positive outcomes.
