We are currently partnering with our client — an Australian manufacturing success story and a recognised player across the engineering and resources sectors — to find a detail-oriented AP Officer to join their close-knit finance team.

The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processing, working collaboratively across branches and with the broader business to keep supplier relationships and payment cycles running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices directly to the General Ledger
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare payment runs ready for review and approval
- Maintain invoice records through the company's archiving system
- Reconcile supplier statements as required
- Support cross-functional teams and contribute to broader finance operations
About You
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar transactional finance role
- High attention to detail with strong data entry and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
- A self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously as well as within a team
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems is highly regarded
