DWS is seeking multiple
Senior Data Analysts for a major data migration with our client in the healthcare sector. Working with a team of data engineers, analysts and reporting specialists, you will contribute to a vital enterprise-wide data migration program leveraging predominantly
Microsoft Fabric,
Python,
Pyspark.
There are various projects part of the program covering data migrations both to, and from, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, financial and clinical systems.
This is an opportunity to play a key technical data role, helping deliver secure and scalable solutions, and migration using both automated and some limited manual solutions.
Where: Brisbane (Sydney or Melbourne may also be considered)
Type: Max Term
Length: 7+ months, to end of 2026 initially - possibly longer
Start: Immediately (by early June)
Style: Hybrid; 3+ days onsite
Salary: Up to $190K (inc super) depending on experience
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric; or demonstrable experience across equivalent Azure data platform components including ADLS/Delta Lakehouse architecture, Synapse or Spark-based data engineering workloads, Data Factory (or similar orchestration tools), and Power BI integration
- Understanding of Delta Lake and medallion architecture patterns; e.g., bronze/silver/gold layering for controlled data refinement
- Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale data pipelines within Fabric or Azure ecosystem; e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar
- Python development skills; including modular design, error handling, logging, and performance optimisation
- Experience with PySpark; including DataFrame APIs, Spark SQL, distributed processing concepts, and handling large-scale datasets
- Experience integrating with Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and finance/operational systems
- Experience executing complex data migrations across multiple platforms; including ERP, CRM, and clinical/operational systems
- Strong capability in data mapping, transformation logic, and schema evolution
- An understanding of data modelling, and data structures for enterprise reporting
- Understanding of automated and manual migration approaches; including when to apply each effectively
- Experience with data validation frameworks; pre- and post-migration checks, business rule validation, and exception handling
- An understanding of data governance principles; including standards, naming conventions, and validation rule enforcement
- Familiarity with APIs, connectors, and ingestion patterns
