Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy and Reporting

THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy and Reporting, is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the procurement team through delivery of procurement improvement and reporting initiatives and managing public construction procurement governance. This is a critical role supporting delivery of the some of the most significant social and affordable housing projects in the state such as the High-rise Redevelopment Program, Australia's largest urban renewal project.
Accountabilities Include
- Contribute advanced procurement expertise and knowledge to benefit strategic planning, outcomes and capability development, including but not limited to identification of strategic procurement opportunities aimed to deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Establish, build and maintain an appropriate reporting framework to enable procurement monitoring and reporting, including active monitoring and reporting on procurement activities, compliance, and progress in relation to commitments to meet legislative requirements.
- Support the ongoing development of the procurement governance framework to support efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
