Canberra, ACT NV1 Mandatory Requirement Long-Term Contract Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Coalition Services Engineer to join a leading Defence Industry program supporting advanced integration, experimentation, and interoperability capabilities within a highly secure environment.

This role will see you working alongside industry and Defence stakeholders on complex mission systems, coalition interoperability activities, systems integration, and technical validation initiatives supporting critical land capability outcomes.

Operating within a specialist engineering environment, you will contribute to the integration, sustainment, testing, and assurance of interconnected systems spanning networks, applications, infrastructure, and mission platforms across Joint and Coalition environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support systems integration, validation, and engineering assurance activities across complex ICT and mission systems
• Provide Level 3 technical support and sustainment across integrated environments
• Develop and maintain system architecture, integration, and technical documentation
• Conduct configuration management activities across hardware, software, and deployed environments
• Support Test & Evaluation, risk reduction activities, and technical remediation
• Engage with Defence Industry partners, ICT teams, and coalition stakeholders to resolve integration challenges
• Contribute to innovation activities and future capability integration initiatives
• Mentor and provide technical guidance during operational and testing activities

Key Skills & Experience

We are seeking candidates with strong experience across:

• Systems engineering and systems integration within complex enterprise or Defence environments
• LAN/WAN technologies including routing, DNS, DHCP, segmentation, and secure communications
• Secure environments aligned to ISM and Essential Eight controls
• Configuration management, integration testing, and technical assurance activities
• Enterprise applications, infrastructure, and interoperability across multi-domain environments
• Active Directory, identity and access management, PKI, federation, or authentication services
• Scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
• Technical stakeholder engagement and engineering advisory capability

Highly Desirable Experience

• Defence Industry or secure government environments
• Coalition interoperability or FVEY environments
• Coalition Test Environment (CTE) exposure
• Mission systems or battle management systems
• Voice and telephony platforms such as CUCM
• Test & Evaluation or experimentation environments
• Experience working across system-of-systems integration

Security Clearance

• Must hold a minimum NV1 Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain NV2 clearance is essential
