What we need from you / What our client requires

  • Strong experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or senior Agile delivery lead
  • Deep knowledge of SAFe Agile and Scrum practices
  • Proven ability to facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and release train ceremonies
  • Experience managing risks, dependencies and delivery across multiple teams
  • Background in Federal Government or large enterprise ICT environments
  • Experience coaching teams and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and business areas

The Role

As a Release Train Engineer, you will facilitate SAFe ceremonies, manage program-level risks and dependencies, and drive continuous improvement to ensure successful delivery outcomes across complex ICT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, reviews and retrospectives
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple agile teams to ensure alignment and value delivery
  • Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies
  • Support prioritisation and planning with senior stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and delivery practices
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to teams on SAFe Agile principles
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes are achieved
  • Produce and manage PI Planning outputs and reporting

Full daily rate will be discussed openly (depending on experience).
