Scrum Master | 12-Month Contract

  • Location: Adelaide based (Remote or Interstate Arrangements NOT available).

  • Work Type: 12-Month Contract (with strong view for extension)
  • Flexibility: Multiple engagement structures available (Contract vs. Max-Term)

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Scrum Master to join our client in Adelaide for an Initial 12 months engagement with the high possibility for extension. In this role, you will champion delivery excellence, supporting cross-functional teams to deliver high quality outcomes across key corporate and departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor project delivery teams on Agile practices to ensure the successful release of high quality products and services.
  • Facilitate core delivery ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives to ensure framework guidelines are seamlessly integrated.
  • Support teams in developing self-organisation, cross-functional capabilities and clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a servant leader for delivery teams assigned to high-priority corporate projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Proactively resolve delivery bottlenecks, actively challenging established IT processes and delivery models to optimise workflow efficiency.
  • Foster an environment focused on automation, innovative thinking and continuous team improvement.
  • Coordinate collaboration and maintain alignment between Project Sponsors, management stakeholders and business units.
  • Partner with Product Owners to refine their responsibilities, streamline backlog management and maximise organisational value.
  • Contribute to the broader maturity and capability uplift of the organisational delivery framework to embed best practices across business units.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Demonstrated experience navigating blended Agile and Waterfall environments, where maintaining an Agile mindset is vital to project success.
  • Strong project leadership capabilities with a proven track record of inspiring autonomy, mastery and alignment around business objectives.
  • A diverse background spanning business analysis, comprehensive documentation, reporting and operational service delivery models.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage and manage a diverse group of senior-level stakeholders.
  • A customer-centric approach to problem solving combined with experience steering enterprise-scale change initiatives.

Contract: Daily / Hourly rates (PAYG or Pty Ltd).

Max-Term Contract : Competitive Annual salary + 12% Super and accrued annual leaves.
