The Role
Reporting to the Project & Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and supporting Rauland’s health technology solutions, along with assisting during installation and upgrade activities as part of project delivery. You will work independently in live healthcare environments, acting as a first responder when issues arise and ensuring systems remain reliable, available and fit for purpose. This is not an electrical role and is best suited to an electronics, ELV or IT‑centric technician.
How would you contribute to our success?
- Installing, configuring (not writing code) and maintaining health technology equipment and systems within our customers’ environments. Including:
- Audio visual, duress, messaging, nurse call, television and real‑time location services
- Extra‑low‑voltage electronics
- IP/MATV infrastructure and smart end points
- Wired and Wi‑Fi, serial and low‑level bus networking
- LiDAR, BLE, RF and IR technology‑based solutions and integrations
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults promptly to minimise downtime and maintain system availability
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance, identifying risks and providing clear recommendations
- Supporting minor works, upgrades, replacements and system expansions in collaboration with project and technical teams
- Maintaining accurate service documentation, job records, reporting and parts usage using mobile service tools
What will make your application stand out?
- Registered Open Cabling Licence
- Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card
- Strong electronics, ELV, telecommunications or networking fundamentals
- Professional, customer‑focused communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload priorities
- Willingness to participate in a three‑week on‑call roster
- Strong customer‑centric mindset and pride in being the face of the business
- Experience in healthcare, security, AV, smart buildings or similar technical environments
- Solid understanding of IP networking and wireless technologies
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools
- Calm, practical and agile approach in fast‑paced environments
