About The Role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse with experience in Day of Surgery Admissions to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 60 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no weekends, no public holidays, no overnights, no on-call.

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

  • Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
  • Ensure the Day Surgery, patients and equipment are ready for surgery
  • Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
  • Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
  • Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

  • Solid experience in Day of Surgery Admissions essential
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
  • Experience in below specialties desirable
