THE ROLE
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, this is the most senior commercial leadership position within the for the business unit in region. You will have full accountability for the Commercial team across ANZ, leading a team of 35 and devising & driving a strategy of accelerated growth; into new channels, new partners and underpenetrated markets.
The business is looking for a leader who will lead this highly engaged & high performing team to even greater heights, bringing new energy and direction to a high performing portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage P&L across Australia & New Zealand
- Develop and execute commercial growth strategies with a focus on channel expansion and market penetration
- Identify, develop and manage distributor and channel partner relationships across the region
- Mentor & coach direct reports
- Oversee a team of 40
- Collaborate closely with regional commercial, marketing and global leadership teams
- Identify and unlock opportunities - particularly in channel partnering and underpenetrated markets
- Report into and manage upward to VP level with strong strategic communication
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven senior commercial leadership experience in Medtech or Medical devices
- Strong track record in business development, channel partner and distributor management
- Experience across hospital and clinic networks across APAC
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and strategic planning capability
- People leadership expertise - managing both upward and downward with confidence
- Hunter mentality - growth and expansion focused, not account management
- Career trajectory that demonstrates accelerated progression and increasing commercial scope
- Sydney-based
