Are you ready to step into a fast-paced and rewarding environment? We’re currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to support a senior leader within a leading university, covering a period of leave from 27 May through to 24 June, with the potential for extension.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established executive office, working alongside a capable and supportive team in a role that requires strong organisation, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities. Given the volume of work we support across the sector, this role can also provide a strong foot in the door for future contract or longer-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a senior leader’s complex diary and inbox, ensuring priorities are well coordinated
  • Prepare daily agendas, briefing packs and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagement and executive logistics
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and discretion
  • Support executive office operations, including committees and key meetings
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to governance processes

We are looking for

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative role
  • Strong diary and email management skills within a complex environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and core business systems
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and provide high-level support
  • A proactive, calm and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience within higher education, government or similarly complex organisations will be highly regarded
