We are recruiting for two Legal Administrator positions for candidates wanting to continue their career in the legal field. Our client is a highly regarded and progressive law firm in Adelaide, known for its outstanding workplace culture.

About the Roles

We are currently recruiting for two Legal Administration Assistant opportunities within:

  • The Personal Injury team
  • The Family Law team

In both positions, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for up to three lawyers by helping to increase productivity through knowledge sharing and service improvement.

The Personal Injury team specialises in complex medical negligence claims and CTP matters, while the Family Law team works across a range of family and relationship matters, providing compassionate support to clients through sensitive situations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that we are providing a professional and high standard of client service
  • Supporting Partners and lawyers with reports, documentation and preparation
  • Preparation of documents, briefs, and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients directly when scheduling and assisting with queries
  • Assisting with billing and finance processes
  • Opening and closing matters, copying, archiving, e-filing and file management
  • Attending administration or team-specific meetings
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of the matters being worked on to help solicitors manage clients proactively
  • Setting up client meeting rooms, ad hoc administrative duties, and adherence to company policies and procedures

About You

To be considered for these roles, you will possess:

  • Administrative experience within a law firm
  • A high attention to detail and very good organisational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and proven ability to pick up new technology
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage competing priorities
  • Resilience to change and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A strong commitment to going above and beyond for clients
  • Confidence, proactivity and a ‘can do’ approach
  • Previous experience using Affinity software is desirable
