Join the Board of the Space Industry Association

The Space Industry Association of Australia is seeking a passionate and experienced independent director to help guide our organisation through an exciting period of growth and transformation.

SIAA is the peak body for the Australian space industry and is a not-for-profit organisation.

SIAA works with members to create business opportunities, policy and partnerships to build Australia's role in the global space economy and to grow Australia’s capability in space technology and services.

What We’re Looking For

As SIAA matures, the Board is seeking to further strengthen its independence, external perspective and strategic oversight through the appointment of an additional independent Non-Executive Director. The Board is particularly interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:

• Governance, legal and regulatory compliance
• Senior government engagement and stakeholder relations
• Cyber security, technology risk and enterprise risk management

Applicants should bring demonstrated board, executive or senior advisory experience, together with a collaborative and forward-looking approach to governance. The Board is also keen to consider a broad and diverse field of applicants who can contribute independent judgement, strategic insight and complementary experience.

The role has an opportunity to contribute to the development of an important and growing industry, supported by SIAA’s organisational profile and sector presence.
