Nalia Skin was born from survival. Our founder, Piyané Ung daughter of Khmer Rouge survivors, bestselling author, and featured by Forbes Australia ,created Nalia Skin during one of the hardest periods of her life. What began as a personal ritual of choosing herself became a brand designed to remind other women to do the same.
Today, Nalia Skin is an Australian-based, female-founded and run beauty brand with Cambodian heritage and global ambition. Our products have been featured in Marie Claire, Country Style, and Forbes Australia, and we’re now entering the next phase of growth.
This is not a corporate environment with layers of approvals and boardroom politics. We work directly with our Founder & CEO in a fast-moving, highly collaborative, flat-structure team where ideas are valued based on impact, not hierarchy.
We’re a remote company, offering flexibility to choose your working days and hours, along with a training and upskilling budget to help you grow alongside the business.

This role is offered at $85,000 pro rata (3 days per week)
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Someone who wakes up wondering why 16 people abandoned their cart yesterday — and goes to sleep having fixed it.
WHAT YOU OWN
Six areas. All of them matter.
SHOPIFY
Conversion rate optimisation, checkout flow, product pages, upsells, bundles, and site performance. You own the store like it's yours.
KLAVIYO
Abandoned cart, welcome sequence, win-back, post-purchase flows, monthly campaign emails – side note: you’ll need to be a great copywriter!
ANALYTICS
Daily Shopify and Klaviyo dashboard. Weekly one-page summary to the founder. And she doesn’t have to ask you to dig for numbers - you bring them.
PAID ADS
Not running them (we have an amazing Digital Marketing Manager) but understanding ROAS/MER well enough to brief and hold us accountable to real targets.
ASSET DEPLOYMENT
Taking shoot assets and working with our incredible Creative Lead to create a deployment plan across social, email, ads, and website so every dollar of content generates maximum return. Merchandising the website.
TEAM COORDINATION
Team coordination on Asana, helping execute the content calendar, stepping into brief the content creator and designer with conversion intent, not just aesthetic.
MUST HAVES
The non-negotiables.
1. Proven experience growing online revenue for a DTC brand — not just managing it, actually growing it.
2. Native in Shopify and Klaviyo. You should be able to open both dashboards and immediately identify what's broken and what's working.
3. Strong understanding of unit economics — LTV, CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, AOV. These are in your daily language.
4. Experience briefing and managing creative teams with commercial intent. You know the difference between beautiful content and converting content.
5. Comfortable working autonomously with a founder who is often across multiple countries and time zones.
6. Beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brand essential, and social media experience strongly preferred.
NOT WHAT WE NEED
1. Someone who keeps things tidy but doesn't ask why the numbers aren't moving
2. A social media manager or content creator — we have those
3. Someone who needs heavy direction and daily check-ins to function
4. Someone who has only worked in agencies — we need someone who has felt the P&L personally
5. Someone who is EITHER macro or micro. We need both.
6. Someone who is EITHER analytical OR creative. We need both.
