Grouse is seeking a passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable Small Group Fitness Coach to join our community-focused team. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting holistic wellness and fostering a supportive environment where all members can thrive.

Whether you’re leading an energetic group session or offering personalised guidance in one-on-one training, you’ll be key in helping our members smash their wellness goals in a place they love to belong.

Responsibilities

Class Instruction

  • Lead group fitness classes according to the schedule and class programming.
  • Ensure a safe and motivating class environment.
  • Tailor classes to the fitness levels and needs of participants.
  • Record client data and report to the team about clients.

Operational Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fitness area.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and properly used.
  • Assist with new member orientations and tours of the facility.

Professional Development

  • Stay current with the latest fitness trends and health guidelines.
  • Attend professional development seminars and workshops.
  • Continuously seek certification in new fitness disciplines.

Qualifications

  • First Aid & CPR
  • Cert III in Fitness
  • Cert IV in Fitness not required, but good one to have!

Skills

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Empathy and ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for fitness and wellness.
  • Technical skills with fitness equipment and training techniques.
