Botáni Australia is looking for a passionate, creative, and motivated social media & Content Creator for a Work Placement opportunity to support the growth of our digital presence and brand storytelling across social media platforms.

This role is ideal for a final-year student or emerging creative who is passionate about skincare, wellness, photography, digital marketing, and content creation. You will work closely with the brand team to create engaging visual content, assist with campaign execution, and contribute creative ideas that align with Botáni’s brand identity and audience.

Success in this role looks like someone who can confidently create engaging social content, bring fresh creative energy to the team, contribute positively to brand growth, and communicate authentically with our audience. This position plays an important role in strengthening Botáni’s online presence and supporting our marketing and brand objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and social media content
• Assist with photography, videography, and content shoots
• Understand and apply lighting, composition, and visual storytelling techniques
• Participate confidently in on-camera content and brand campaigns
• Support social media scheduling, captions, and content planning
• Research trends, hashtags, SEO keywords, and digital marketing opportunities
• Assist with editing short-form video and visual assets
• Use social media and AI tools to support content development and workflow efficiency
• Contribute creative ideas aligned with brand identity and audience engagement
• Collaborate professionally with the team and communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence presenting on camera and engaging with audiences
• Understanding of social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok
• Knowledge of photography, videography, lighting, and aesthetics
• Familiarity with Canva, editing tools, and content creation platforms
• Understanding of AI tools and digital marketing trends
• Basic understanding of SEO and social media optimisation
• Genuine interest in skincare, wellness, beauty, and branding
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, humility, and willingness to learn
• Currently studying or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Creative Industries, or related fields
