About the role

This is a rare opportunity for an Associate with 2–4 years PQE to build a valuable specialist skill set in gaming and law. You will have direct contact with the clients and day-to-day responsibility for your own matters, with oversight from the Principal.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising domestic and international clients on all matters relating to the regulation and enforcement of gaming laws & regulations
• Supporting clients to develop new operating models and assisting with their entry into new markets
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and T&Cs
• Advising global senior management and counsel around the world

The ideal candidate

• 2-4 years PQE in gaming or technology law, or similar experience in related areas
• Clear, confident communicator who can build trust with clients quickly
• Strong commercial drafting skills, particularly across domestic and international contracts and agreements
• Practical, business-minded approach and strong attention to detail
• Exposure to US and/or EU legal or regulatory frameworks such as the GDPR (highly regarded but not essential)
• Genuine drive to learn, develop and succeed in a niche area of law

The ideal candidate does not need to have pure gaming and gambling experience but should be genuinely interested in building a specialist practice in this space.
