Portfolio Environment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Environment Manager to oversee and manage environment strategy, planning, and governance across a portfolio of projects and applications. This role is critical in ensuring stable, scalable, and efficient environments that support development, testing, and production needs across multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end environment management across multiple projects within the portfolio
• Define and implement environment strategy, governance, and standards
• Coordinate environment provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning activities
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, QA, and application teams to ensure environment readiness
• Manage environment availability, capacity planning, and scheduling conflicts
• Oversee release and deployment coordination across environments
• Ensure data integrity and manage environment data refreshes and masking where required
• Identify and mitigate environment-related risks and issues
• Maintain environment documentation, dashboards, and reporting metrics
• Drive continuous improvement in environment utilization and automation

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in environment management / release management / DevOps
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex portfolio
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable
