This practice is a leading 2nd Tier firm located in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD. Long established, the firm is now led by multiple Directors and 200+ staff across 6 offices nationally. The Brisbane office alone employs 150 staff and is a fully integrated professional services firm, boasting expertise that caters for every business need where numbers are involved. The Role
Our client is looking for a Forensic Accounting Manager to join their team. You will provide forensic accounting and financial support to clients ranging from ASX listed companies to private SMEs.
Your duties and those of the staff you manage will include, however are not limited to:
- Managing multiple client engagements and a team of highly motivated staff
- Ensuring the gathering, analysing and reporting on a variety of business information from different sources to identify area of profit and loss;
- Investigation of accounts, stock, policies and procedures.
- Working with insurance providers, brokers and clients directly, managing expectations and relationships.
- Providing strategic risk management advice based on investigative outcomes in order to mitigate future potential losses
- Valuation of assets and businesses.
- Determining the impact of a variety of commercial challenges on businesses over both the long and short term.
- Communicating and managing the expectations of a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of each individual client.
The Individual
To be considered for this role you will possess:
- 10 - 15+ years’ experience working in forensic accounting;
- CA or CPA qualification, and other Forensic accreditations;
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal;
- An autonomous and teamwork approach to work;
- Excellent stakeholder management
