Solution Architect

We’re partnering with a large enterprise environment seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a major digital transformation and operational technology program.

This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions across a complex enterprise landscape. You’ll work closely with technical leaders, project teams, and business stakeholders to shape architecture outcomes across cloud, integration, data, geospatial, and operational platforms.

The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on enterprise architecture alignment, stakeholder engagement, and delivery governance.

• 12 month contract with likely extension
• Paying market rate
• 3 days per week in office

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integrations, and infrastructure
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout delivery
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
• Support integration initiatives involving APIs, microservices, and enterprise platforms
• Contribute to governance forums, technical reviews, and architecture assurance activities
• Develop architecture documentation, technical specifications, integration designs, and risk assessments
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders across large-scale programs

Required Experience

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments
• Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
• Experience with data platforms, databases, location/tracking solutions, or geospatial systems
• Strong integration experience across APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Highly Regarded

• Experience across both government and private sector environments
• Enterprise architecture experience and frameworks
• TOGAF and/or cloud certifications
• Experience delivering solutions within large-scale transformation programs
