Senior Estimator

IEPro are currently working with several highly regarded civil contractors to recruit experienced Senior Estimators for opportunities across Brisbane.

These opportunities sit within businesses delivering a range of civil infrastructure projects across roads, subdivisions, transport infrastructure, utilities, structures, and associated civil works. Each organisation offers a strong pipeline of secured work, experienced leadership teams, and long-term career development opportunities.

These positions would suit estimators who enjoy being involved in the detail while also contributing to broader tender strategy, methodology development, and commercial decision-making.

The Opportunity

As Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tenders while working closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure pricing remains accurate, competitive, and aligned with project delivery requirements.

You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects while contributing to pre-contract planning and supporting successful project outcomes.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil infrastructure projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documentation
• Develop construction methodologies and pricing strategies
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor pricing submissions
• Review commercial risks and identify value opportunities
• Support tender clarifications and bid review processes
• Contribute to project handover activities following successful tenders
• Drive improvements across estimating systems and processes

About You

To succeed, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within civil construction
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects including roads, earthworks, drainage, utilities, or structures
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex tenders
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
• Ability to develop methodologies and identify project risks
• Experience coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A practical and hands-on approach to tender delivery

Estimators with two years experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
