The role is designed for someone who can connect deep technical expertise with commercial strategy. You will play a key role in developing and launching future-focused energy services that support both clients and broader grid stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new service opportunities across the Australian energy market (NEM), driven by regulatory and technical change
• Build robust commercial business cases, turning technical concepts into market-ready solutions
• Partner with global teams to adapt and deploy advanced technologies into the local market
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to key industrial clients, supporting complex solution sales
• Represent the business in industry and regulatory forums, influencing market development
• Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, commercial, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or similar
• Strong understanding of the Australian energy market and grid dynamics
• Experience transitioning from technical roles into strategy, commercial, or product-based positions
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into commercial value
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable operating in a senior, influential individual contributor role
