Peptides Advisor / SME

HCPA

Melbourne (Preferred) | Open to Remote Across Australia

We’re hiring at HCPA — a consulting firm focused on helping healthcare businesses enter, design, and scale services in regulated environments.

We’re currently looking for an SME (Peptides) to support how peptide-based services are designed, structured, and delivered within modern clinical models (particularly telehealth).

This is not a traditional clinical role.

It’s focused on how services are built, implemented, and supported — not just practiced.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the design and setup of peptide-based services within clinical and wellness environments
  • Translate scientific and clinical knowledge into practical frameworks, protocols, and workflows
  • Contribute to consult → prescribing → monitoring pathways
  • Provide input into patient safety, risk, and appropriate use considerations
  • Help shape SOPs, processes, and scalable service models
  • Work closely with teams building telehealth-first healthcare delivery models
  • Support research, implementation, and operational thinking across peptide-focused services

What we’re looking for

Our ideal candidate has experience with:

  • Peptide-based therapies and modern telehealth or clinic setup environments
  • Weight loss, longevity, metabolic health, or hormone-related services
  • Clinical workflows, treatment planning, and patient journey design
  • Healthcare environments where services are still being built, evolving, or scaling

However, we’re also open to candidates from scientific, research, pharmacy, biotech, or healthcare-related backgrounds who demonstrate:

  • Strong practical understanding of peptide therapies
  • Commercial curiosity and strong learning agility
  • Ability to apply scientific or clinical thinking into real-world service models

What makes a strong fit

  • You think beyond individual patients and understand how services should be structured
  • You can translate scientific or clinical knowledge into practical, repeatable processes
  • You’re commercially curious and interested in how healthcare services operate and scale
  • You’re comfortable working in evolving or early-stage environments
  • You have strong learning agility and enjoy working across science, healthcare, and operations

What this role is (and isn’t)

  • Focused on service design, systems, implementation, and advisory support
  • Involves scientific and clinical thinking applied to real-world delivery models
  • Suitable for candidates from both scientific and healthcare-related backgrounds
  • Not a pure day-to-day patient-facing clinical role
  • Not a purely academic or laboratory research position

Why this role

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of:

  • Clinical care
  • Scientific innovation
  • Service design
  • Telehealth and modern healthcare delivery
