The role
- We’re seeking an Information Management Systems Support Coordinator for a permanent full-time role. In this position, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of Information Management systems, processes and practices across the organisation.
- You will support governance and compliance requirements, provide guidance and training to staff, and contribute to reporting and audit activities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Working closely with the Team Leader Information Management, you will support the effective operation of the team and deliver strong organisational outcomes.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, confident working across systems, processes and compliance in a complex environment.
You communicate clearly, build effective relationships and translate technical requirements into practical, easy-to-follow guidance. You take a collaborative approach and contribute to improving processes, strengthening systems and enhancing service delivery.
Experience in Information Management, or a strong interest in developing capability in this area, will be highly regarded, along with an understanding of electronic records management and the ability to work effectively within a local government environment.
Key Selection Criteria
- A formal qualification in an Information Management field with relevant experience in information management OR relevant and demonstrated experience in Information Management particularly with regards to records/documents/image management.
- Knowledge and experience of record keeping principles.
- Excellent communication skills, including a proven ability to communicate effectively with those of varying technical understanding and levels of the organisation.
- Experience in the operation and administration of Electronic Documents and Records Management Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop improvement initiatives and deliver improvements in line with department objectives.
- Experience working in a Senior Information management role.
