Your role within the team
The Procurement Specialist acts as a key partner within the ANZ Procurement team, leading procurement and contract management across assigned key indirect categories This role supports the development and execution of category strategies, ensures policy compliance, and drives cost, quality, and value outcomes. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, the Specialist helps embed procurement early in the planning process, contributing to both operational excellence and strategic business goals across the ANZ region.
Key responsibilities include
- Sourcing & Contracting: Lead sourcing events, manage contract negotiation and supplier onboarding.
- Category Management: Support the management of key indirect spend areas.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and align procurement solutions accordingly.
- Cost & Value Delivery: Identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities, such as supporting and running RFP and RFQ processes.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, contractual requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through regular business and QBR meetings.

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field
- 2-3+ years of experience preferably in procurement roles, ideally with a focus on indirect categories.
- Demonstrated success in running end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Experience working in a dynamic fast pacing environment.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders across functions and influence decision-making.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuites, SAP etc)
- Exposure to cost optimization, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of indirect procurement categories.
- Proficiency in contract management, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Skilled in data analysis, cost modelling, and developing business cases to support procurement decisions.
- Familiarity with ERP tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of procurement policy, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
