Delivery Consultant (Associate)

Introduction

This Role provides a unique opportunity to work with the University of QLD(UQ) to contribute to the ongoing administration, support, operations, engineering, innovation and development of solutions and research enabling technologies to facilitate RCC’s mission to support UQ researchers in the use of research computing infrastructure and services, with a focus on the IBM platforms and technologies implemented within the University Research Computing Centre. You will assist with automation, scripting, infrastructure support and administration.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Technology Expert Labs services for IBM's Storage Portfolio, you will provide world-class services for data and AI, hybrid cloud, and data resiliency solutions for clients based on IBM Storage systems and software. In this role, you will work with clients to deliver solutions that meet their specific needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Deliver Technology Expert Labs Services: Provide expert-level services to clients, focusing on data and AI, hybrid cloud, and data resiliency solutions using IBM Storage systems and software.
• Implement Storage Solutions: Apply knowledge of IBM Storage systems and software to implement solutions that meet client requirements for data and AI, hybrid cloud, and data resiliency.
• Support Client Needs: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver tailored solutions using IBM Storage systems and software.
• Execute Solution Delivery: Perform tasks related to delivering solutions, including planning, implementation, and testing, to ensure high-quality results for clients.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Data and AI Solutions: Familiarity with data and AI concepts, including data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence, as they relate to IBM Storage systems and software.
• Experience Working with Hybrid Cloud: Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, including cloud storage, migration, and management, using IBM Storage systems and software.
• Understanding of Data Resiliency: Exposure to data resiliency concepts, including data protection, backup, and recovery, as they apply to IBM Storage systems and software.
• Familiarity with IBM Storage Systems: Experience working with IBM Storage systems, including hardware and software components, to deliver client solutions.
• Exposure to Solution Implementation: Experience with implementing solutions, including planning, testing, and deployment, using IBM Storage systems and software.

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering (Programming, Data Science & AI majors preferred), or associated field (Mathematics, Science) Python / Json / Yaml
