You will ultimately be responsible for a team of platform architects with a defined ambition, to serve the business and it’s customer better. Your role, along with your team is to manage internal stakeholders, as well as have a connection to external customers and leverage this information to discover efficiency gains through technology!
We are searching for that unique skillset, the person who can operate in a Global, complex organisation however make swift changes to provide impact to the team around you, proving ROI through smart processes internally – building product ‘GTM’s’ for customers – after all, when you’ve earned the stripes why would your customers not choose you!
You’ll have grown up from platform engineering, be well versed when it comes to automation, AI, as well as the many tools across the hyper scalers available for use. This mature platform team, serving over 2m users daily and 100+MS customers in Australia is a business in itself! You shall use your unrivalled man-management, technical genius and excellent interpersonal skills to reduce risk, improve speed to market, increase success & profitability on internal projects, drive better services to the client.
This is a multi-faceted role
- Lead a team of platform architects to increase efficiency to the engineering teams
- Reduce risk through better cadence and visibility on projects
- Be customer facing to understand 1st hand what should be improved and on offer to increase value
- Offer structure and push back to the wider business – structured and formalised business cases
- Continuously improve service through technology to offer a competitive story to market, winning more customers.
