Air Conditioning Service Technician

A family-owned Air Conditioning and Electrical company based in Brisbane, servicing residential, builder and commercial clients across South East Queensland.

The Role

As a Qualified Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of residential, builder and commercial air conditioning systems throughout SEQ.

This role includes working on split systems, ducted systems, VRF systems, package units, ventilation systems and commercial HVAC equipment across a variety of projects.

You'll work Monday to Friday with no after-hours call outs, supported by an experienced office and management team who understand the importance of good scheduling, communication and having the right parts and information available.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of split systems, ducted systems, VRF systems and commercial HVAC equipment
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on residential and commercial systems
• Work across a variety of major air conditioning and refrigeration brands
• Complete detailed job notes, photos and reports accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and practical technical advice
• Liaise with the office team regarding parts, follow-up work and scheduling
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional presentation on site

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Current QLD Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Current First Aid and CPR/LVR certification (or able to obtain)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pride in your workmanship and commitment to safety
• The ability to follow company policies and procedures
• Good time management, punctuality and reliability
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship
• Previous trade or mechanical experience highly regarded, but not essential
• Willingness to learn and develop within the HVAC industry
