About the Role: Working across both the Technical Services and Marketing teams, this role provides first-line IT support to venues and Head Office while also assisting with website maintenance and digital projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, you’ll gain hands-on experience across internal systems, hardware support, websites, and digital platforms.
- Please note: this role is fully office-based at our Melbourne CBD Head Office and does not offer work-from-home flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for hardware, POS systems, EFT terminals, and end-user devices
- Assist with user account setup and desktop support across Windows and macOS environments
- Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues
- Log and manage support requests through the IT ticketing system
- Support website maintenance, updates, and digital content implementation
- Assist with front-end web development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
- Collaborate with IT and Marketing teams on digital initiatives and business projects
Skills & Experience
- Passionate about technology and eager to build a career in IT and web development
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of IT support concepts and troubleshooting
- Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript or CMS platforms such as WordPress is advantageous
- Relevant IT qualification or current studies highly regarded
- Hospitality systems experience is a bonus but not essential
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Experience in Wordpress, Strapi and/or Directus highly regarded
- Understanding of SEO
- Backend coding desired
