About the Role

Working closely with the CFO, this role will lead the day-to-day finance function across a multi-entity business, helping strengthen reporting, improve financial controls, and drive systems and process improvements across the group.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys building structure, improving accountability, and leading operational change within a fast-paced environment.

Please note: This role is based full-time in our Melbourne CBD office and does not offer hybrid or work-from-home arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across a multi-entity group
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Improve reporting accuracy, controls, and finance workflows
• Drive systems and process improvement initiatives
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
• Mentor and support the finance team
• Partner with operational stakeholders across the business
• Support audit, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or senior finance leader
• Multi-entity business experience highly regarded
• Experience within hospitality, retail, wholesale or operationally focused businesses preferred
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting discipline
• Strong systems and process improvement capability
• Experience leading finance teams through operational change or transformation preferred
