We’re on the lookout for an experienced and driven

Ground Handling Training and Compliance Manager to lead training strategy and compliance across our Ground Handling operations. Based in a senior leadership role, you’ll play a key part in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory and airline requirements, and building a high-performing training culture across the business.

About You and the Role

  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement and gap analysis of the dnata dGOM (training and compliance standards)
  • Lead the development and implementation of prerequisite programs to support the company’s management systems to meet and exceed all regulatory requirements i.e. ISO 9001 & ISAGO
  • Perform regular audits to ensure the consistent application of approved programs, maintenance of training records and ongoing adherence to the Standards for Training requirements
  • Develop and maintain training policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with dGOM, IATA, ISAGO, regulatory requirements and associated dnata standards
  • Develop curriculum, course content and delivery methodology ensuring compliance to industry standards, regulations, legislation and dnata Ground Handling policy and procedure
  • Lead and mentor Training Team through formal and informal communication, performance reviews and coaching
  • Manage diverse geographically located teams across multiple ground handling disciplines
  • Lead significant stakeholder engagement and consultation to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands
  • Management of Non-Conformance/Corrective Action System as per company, supplier and customer requirements
  • Provide quality metrics and accurate reporting on critical training delivery

Key Requirements that you bring with you

  • Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment
  • Certification in Auditing
  • Previous experience in or knowledge of airline industry principles and procedures
  • Previous Auditing experience and reporting standards and principles
  • Extensive senior leadership experience managing a diverse geographically located team
  • Sound understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework and knowledge of all aspects of Training frameworks
  • Experience in monitoring and reviewing existing processes and procedures and implementing changes to improve operational efficiencies
  • Ability to influence in a diverse workforce through a practical pragmatic approach
  • Record of achievement in building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and oral and negotiation skills
  • High level of computer literacy and sound knowledge of training management systems
