About the Role
We are looking for an Inbound Sales Consultant play a key role in providing sales support to the Medical Indemnity Growth team. This role is essential to our operational success, providing support via phone and email while applying strong knowledge of our processes, procedures and business rules. Your value‑based approach will help ensure we consistently meet prospect and member expectations. This role suits someone who enjoys balancing customer needs with business requirements while working in a fast‑paced, volume‑driven environment.
Key activities
- Manage inbound sales opportunities
- Review applications, prepare offers and issue them to prospects
- Commit accepted offers in line with underwriting, product and risk frameworks
- Support operational outcomes through ad‑hoc tasks, quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Key challenges
- Meeting prospect expectations in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Balancing the needs of prospects with business objectives to achieve strong sales outcomes
- Adhering to complex compliance, underwriting and legislative requirements
- Managing a large volume of product, process and industry information
- Implementing both ad‑hoc and planned policy and process changes
- Participating in ongoing training and capability development
Key skills and experience required
- FSR Tier 2 accreditation
- Previous experience in customer support, sales or administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Collaborative mindset and a can‑do attitude
- Fast learner who can quickly understand business processes
- Customer service focus
- Intermediate MS Office skills
